1. Work on to solve major road safety problem
2. Work as subject matter expert to guide policy intern
3. Help & guide policy intern to device the solution of the purposed problem statement
4. Monitor the intern working under your guidance follow the guidelines as per the checklist provided to you.
5. Guide them on the drafting of the reports and suggest possible changes
6. Guide intern for implementation of the proposed solution.
7. Work on providing assistance in the making of study material for the policy internship program.
Indian Road Safety Campaign (IRSC), an initiative by alumni of IIT Delhi students, is the largest youth-led organization in India. It has a presence in over 50 cities and is working with the help of 2500+ youths with college chapters in premier IITs, NITs, DU colleges, AIIMS, and law colleges across India. IRSC is presently working with organizations like the UN, WHO, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (India), National Informatics Center (NIC), NITI Aayog, IRTE, Delhi Traffic Police, and TRIPP. IIT Delhi, in its endeavor to make Indian roads safer, has been able to impact more than 1 crore people across India through its various domains of operations.
IRSC Solve is presently leading interventions of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. With awards from various national and international governments, IRSC aims to make roads safer. To date, more than 140 alumni of IRSC have made it to civil services, IIMs, LSE, IHEID, etc.
