About the internship
Role Overview:
The Centre for Policy Research & Advocacy is seeking a motivated and research-oriented intern to assist in its initiatives in policy analysis, research, and advocacy. This internship will provide an opportunity to work closely with experts, contribute to policy papers, and engage in stakeholder dialogues.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on policy issues related to governance, public policy, social justice, etc.
Assist in drafting reports, policy briefs, and research papers.
Support the team in organizing events, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
Monitor policy developments, legislative changes, and relevant news updates.
Assist in preparing presentations, communication materials, and advocacy content.
Engage in data collection, analysis and qualitative research as required.
Perform other tasks related to research and policy advocacy as assigned.
What are we looking for?
A passionate individual who is currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Interest in policy-making, governance, and advocacy initiatives.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
