Policy Research Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement a plan to reach policymakers and other target audiences to build support for Pi Consultant's advocacy priorities
2. Work on quite a bit of writing and research work
3. Formulate and implement the advocacy and communication strategies within Pi Consulting's project portfolio on public health
4. Support the development and implementation of the communication and advocacy strategy for engagement with Pi's partners in support of program objectives
5. Develop and implement a suitable media strategy for key advocacy issues
6. Serve as a liaison for journalists, and other media and provide communications support
7. Develop platforms for the website, knowledge management and virtual community of practice
8. Establish a coherent and consistent brand image across all collateral; ensure all projects comply with branding strategy and marketing plan
9. Work with Pi's program, technology, and learning teams to coordinate and promote advocacy priorities with stakeholders for targeted issues
10. Provide strategic support to the director and leadership team on critical messaging and media-related issues
11. Lead content development and produce written materials for knowledge management and virtual platforms
