Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Teach structured, play-based lessons tailored to early childhood development.
2. Use songs, games, and interactive techniques to create a fun and positive learning experience.
3. Ensure each child feels comfortable, safe, and supported.
4. Maintain accurate attendance records.
5. Arrive early to prepare the learning space.
6. Distribute rewards as part of our positive reinforcement approach.
7. Organize and maintain teaching materials for an effective learning environment.
8. 10. Answer basic parent questions and guide them to official communication channels for further assistance.
9. Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor with families and students.
10. Represent Water Town at community events and promote educational awareness programs.
11. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure learning space.
12. Report any issues or concerns promptly.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 9th Feb'25 and 16th Mar'25
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Someone with experience working with children (whether in preschools, education settings, or as a swim instructor).
2. A teacher who understands the importance of creating a fun and magical learning environment for children.
3. Candidates with a background in child psychology, education, or related fields are preferred, but hands-on teaching experience is also valuable
4. Availability to work on weekends and during the peak season from March to September is mandatory. Typically, teaching sessions are structured in 3-hour blocks, then break, and an additional 3-hour evening session.
5. Flexibility for travel within Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurgaon, Delhi) is preferred, as classes are frequently held in hotels and schools but if you can only work at one location there's possibility to consider this.
Water Town Swim School specializes in swim lessons for children from 4 months to 4 years old. We do not view swimming solely as a sport of getting from point A to point B but rather as one of the best ways to maximize a child's potential. Research has proven that early swim lessons help a child develop physically, mentally, intellectually, and even socially.
