About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Research and explore Indian traditional arts, crafts, textiles, and heritage-inspired designs, ensuring authenticity and innovation.
2. Stay updated with global fashion and design trends, integrating traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
3. Create illustrations, 3D designs, and technical drawings using software like Blender, Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and CAD tools to visualize product concepts.
4. Select and experiment with craft materials, manufacturing techniques, and product development processes to ensure high-quality production.
5. Develop detailed sketches, technical drawings, and 3D renders for prototypes and final production, ensuring clarity for artisans and manufacturers.
6. Work closely with artisans and craftspeople to translate designs into functional and aesthetic products, maintaining design integrity.
7. Analyze textures, patterns, colour theory, and aesthetic elements to enhance product appeal and maintain brand identity.
8. Troubleshoot design and production challenges, applying strong problem-solving skills to improve efficiency.
9. Collaborate with teams across design, production, and marketing to ensure seamless execution from concept to final product.
