About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting senior designers with the design and development of new physical products
2. Creating 3D models using software like SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or Inventor (knowledge of at least one is preferred)
3. Modifying existing 3D models to meet design specifications
4. Preparing 3D models for 3D printing, which may include slicing the model and setting print parameters
5. Operating 3D printers to produce prototypes
6. Analyzing the quality and functionality of 3D printed prototypes, identifying areas for improvement
7. Documenting the design process, including sketches, notes, and technical drawings
8. Researching and staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in physical product design
Earn certifications in these skills
Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 3rd Jun'24 and 8th Jul'24
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements
1. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.
2. Familiarity with 3D printing software like Cura, Simplify3D, etc.
3. Knowledge of computer-aided design CAD software is advantageous
4. Passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing products
5. Experience with prototyping beyond 3D printing
6. Strong visual communication skills
