Product Design (Mechanical) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on the utilization of CAD/CATIA/3D modeling software
2. Researching into and working on the development of new medical devices and implementation into production
3. Producing different components of medical devices using plastic injection molding/insert molding and LSR (liquid silicone rubber) molding
4. Identifying sites for manufacture and assembly of medical mechanical components
5. Working on mechanical design work and manufacturing processes (various plastics and rubber)
6. Reading and interpreting blueprint documents
7. Working on various plastic fabricating processes
8. Working on the development of new and exciting products
9. Working on end-to-end development of the product, from capturing the user/marketing needs to the final product release
