The duties and responsibilities of the Product Development includes:
1. Stay up-to-date on e-commerce industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and use this knowledge to inform product strategy and development.
2. Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques and seeking design inspiration.
3. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal Product themes, make edits to lines, and create new concepts
4. Onboarding of new vendors and Liaison with merchandising, operations, and customer service teams to improve efficiencies, trade, and customer experience.
5. Manage new Sample launches, product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities.
6. Be highly involved in Quality Testing and regular site walks to ensure 100% accuracy at all times.
7. Work on developing go-to-market strategies, business cases PPT, and financial projections
8. Source and screen candidates, and vendors through various sourcing techniques
9. Design, create, proofread and publish the company's newsletters and e-mailers and top-notch content for blogs, newsletters, articles, thought leadership pieces, and social media content
10. Ability to drive content creation for social media like WhatsApp, Instagram YouTube, etc.
11. Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of marketplace activities, e.g. product uploads, reporting, and organizing stock transfers.
12. Analyze product performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and other data parameters

• Proven working experience in merchandising in a similar role.
