About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Participate or lead software development project teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery
2. Devise product development strategies to optimize effectiveness
3. Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
4. Understand, refine, and document product requirements with clients for internal and external team use
5. Participate in recruiting, orienting, and training new engineering and project/product management staff
6. Predict resources and effort needed to deliver product objectives
7. Prepare budgets based on the scope of work and resource requirements
8. Develop and manage detailed product development schedules and work plans
9. Provide regular product development updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress
10. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout product development
11. Measure product performance to identify areas for improvement

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred

2. Familiarity with product management software tools, methodologies, and best practices is preferred

3. Strong analytical, interpersonal, computer, and conceptual skills, acute problem-solving skills, and extremely resourceful

4. Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

5. Excellent project management and organizational skills

6. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making

7. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is preferred

8. Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role or having the mindset of a product manager
