Product Sourcing & Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Product Sourcing: Assist in sourcing products, suppliers, and manufacturers via B2B websites, Global Sources, and others.
2. Supplier Evaluation: Research and assess potential suppliers, comparing product quality, prices, and reliability to identify the best options.
3. Order Management: Help manage the procurement process, ensuring timely orders and deliveries of products.
4. Import and Export documents: Support the coordination of logistics, shipping, and delivery of goods from suppliers to warehouses or directly to customers.
5. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchase orders, shipping details, and product inventory.
6. Vendor Communication: Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
7. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor sourcing strategies.
8. Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to sourcing performance, supply chain metrics, and product costs for management review.
9. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and insights to improve sourcing and supply chain processes, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of product sourcing and supply chain management processes.
3. Familiarity with B2B platforms, Global Sources, and other e-commerce sourcing websites.
4. Excellent research and analytical skills.
