Production Assistance Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in researching, organizing, and evaluating financial markets to determine topics for agenda construction and developing leads for speaker acquisition
2. Assisting with validating the proposed topic, sub-themes, timing, and location
3. Researching and analyzing the feasibility of developing potential conference topics into viable events and providing marketing and sales teams with highlights, briefs, sponsorship targets, and other information required to ensure event success
4. Assisting in managing speaker communication, obtaining required materials, and performing database management for speaker/session tracking and displaying on the website
5. Assisting in writing the conference program, inviting speakers, liaising with speakers to ensure attendance, organizing or assisting in the organization of the event, as the case may be, and attending to all matters relating to and/or ancillary to the successful conducting of the event
6. Liaising with the communications and marketing divisions, assisting in supporting the marketing of sponsorship opportunities for events, and supervising the work of sales and marketing people
7. Working with and supporting a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences
