Program Modeling & Research Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide leadership in overall planning and management of program initiatives & support the development and implementation of the organizations strategic and business plans
2. Facilitate the development of annual operation plans, management plans, work and activity plans for programs
3. Coordinate and manage the development, implementation, monitoring, & control of budgets for programs & ensure prudent financial management & effective use of resources allocated for use in the implementation of program activities
4. Take a lead in processes to design and develop new projects ensuring this builds on experience & shared learning
5. Establish and develop effective working relations with implementing partners
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's support to its local partners and the impact it has on poverty reduction
7. Facilitate consultations with local partners & stakeholders to solicit their input into program development
8. Ensure positive working relationships with partners, collaborators, government, other stakeholders, & peer organizations
9. Support and consolidate participatory action research from across the program & liaise with universities & research institutes as is appropriate
