About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Porting a GUI and the corresponding back-end code developed in MATLAB to a C/C++ based platform that can run in a Linux environment
2. Incorporating image acquisition from a camera, a simple communication protocol over a serial port and some elementary image processing

The choice of platform is flexible, provided that the relevant constraints of real-time operation and optimal CPU use are met.
