About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Accountable for the family room operations including hands-on management and service delivery, budget development, project management, facilities maintenance, in accordance with established standards
2. Ensure compliance with established responsibilities and liaise with healthcare professionals as to ongoing operations of Family Room
3. Act as primary contact with hospital personnel of a family room within a hospital introducing them to the program
4. Assist with family room operations in the absence of the manager
5. Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual reports to the Board of Directors and RMHC Global
6. Assist and support guest families visiting the family room
7. Ensure appropriate records are kept of all visitors
8. Report matters of concern in a timely manner to the RMHC committee and participate in the resolution
9. Monitor and report on adherence to approved budgets
