Project Management Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Helping with one or more projects that the office is working on, allowing opportunities to gain exposure and understanding of project management methodologies and processes in a professional environment
2. Ensuring a smooth transition of awarded projects from business development to the project management office
3. Assisting the project manager to ensure project requirements, standards, and documentation are followed
4. Assisting the manager to ensure projects are in scope, on schedule, and within budget
5. Providing an active role and using critical judgment in the development of all project deliverables
6. Ensuring quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the manager
7. Assisting with reporting on the project status and health
8. Assisting with identifying, managing, and resolving project risks and issues
9. Assisting with monitoring quality assurance and change control processes
10. Communicating with sponsors, team, and all other relevant stakeholders for each assigned project as directed by the manager
11. Supporting to ensure compliance with all contractual commitments defined in contracts with vendors
