Empowering women and girls to transform villages and communities. empowHER India has come to a realization - social and economic transformation of rural communities and villages has to begin with empowering women. We believe that when women have equal rights, opportunities, and support systems, their families and communities prosper. We envision an equitable society where adolescent girls are empowered to realize their full potential and become agents of transformation for themselves and their communities. We began this journey in the villages of Panvel over two decades ago by bringing knowledge and resources. With these tools in hand, the women we worked with brought the vision of empowHER India to life.
