As a part of eGov Foundation's Health Mission, we are looking at individuals with a background and passion in public health who are looking at doing a 6 month internship with Bangalore as a base location.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Study and analyze India's public health to understand the key challenges being faced.
2. Research current digital initiatives under various categories (National/State, disease area-wise, DPGs, DPIs, others).
3. Understand the ABDM initiative, including key modules, adoption, benefits, and challenges.
4. Connect and discuss with partners, NGOs, government officials, and for-profit organizations.
5. Conduct fieldwork if required.
6. Analyze gaps and challenges where technology (especially DPGs and DPIs) can play a role.
7. Create and publish reports based on studies, analyses, and discussions.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 20th Sep'24 and 25th Oct'24
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Bangalore
5. have relevant skills and interests
The eGovernments Foundation (eGov) is a nonprofit organization started by Nandan Nilekani and Srikanth Nadhamuni in 2003. It aims to transform urban governance in India through DIGIT, its flagship technology platform. DIGIT helps urban local bodies (ULBs) more efficiently manage operations, track finances, and provide municipal services to citizens.
