About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify and source suppliers for electrical equipment, components, and IT infrastructure
2. Evaluate potential suppliers' capabilities, certifications, and track records in delivering electrical and IT products
3. Collaborate with internal teams, to understand the technical requirements for various projects and operations
4. Translate technical specifications into clear purchasing requirements for suppliers
5. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements that meet quality and budgetary requirements
6. Track the progress of purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries
7. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate open communication and effective collaboration
8. Coordinate with quality control teams to inspect and ensure that procured electrical and IT equipment meet established quality standards
9. Work with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels of electrical and IT components, minimizing excess or shortages
10. Participate in demand planning discussions to align procurement activities with project schedules
11. Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations
