Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include learning and working quickly on Google Vision API in Google's cloud computing platform.
Note: We are building an optical character recognition tool specific to a vernacular language. Accurate text needs to be extracted from huge volumes of PDF or scanned images then transferred to text format with proper display of letters.
The work will be complete after building a conversion application with 100% precision maintaining the format, font, and style of the Unicode letters once extracted from scanned images. The external proof-reader of vernacular language will only certify the accuracy post-extraction.
