QC Chemist Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyzing and testing: Analyzing, purifying, modifying, and characterizing compounds. They also perform routine testing and inspections of lab equipment and materials.
2. Sampling and data collection: Selecting random samples throughout the production process and collecting and analyzing samples and data to identify and quantify environmental toxicants.
3. Researching: Conducting research to develop new chemical formulations and processes, and to discover, develop, refine, and evaluate new products.
4. Documenting: Documenting all tests properly and creating thorough reports on tests and findings.
5. Maintaining: Cleaning, maintaining, and storing testing tools and equipment.
6. Coordinating: Coordinating waste management and working with supervisors and colleagues.
7. Following procedures: Ensuring compliance with federal standards and regulations, adhering to internal quality guidelines and protocol, and following all company and governmental safety procedures.
