About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Own responsibility for end-to-end product quality including defect management and oversight, status reporting and metrics creation, and escalation for issues discovered during the testing phase
2. Tests complex API, web and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems
3. Work with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle and create software artefacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports
4. Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components
5. Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes
6. Manage the final quality on production release

1. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field

2. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and STLC

3. A strong desire to send bug-free systems to the production environment and eagerness to improve continuously

4. Strong sense of ownership, solid work ethic, and a responsible team player

5. Skills in STLC, SDLC, Excel, Jira, ClickUp, etc.
