About the internship

Scope of the role: We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
2. Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
3. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
4. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
5. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
6. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
7. Manage the staff attendance
8. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
9. Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
10. Update calendars and schedule meetings
11. Arrange travel and accommodations and prepare vouchers
12. Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
13. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing
14. Manage ad hoc administrative work

Other requirements

1. Proven work experience of 1 to 4 years as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.

2. Any graduation or diploma preferred.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Hands-on experience with office equipment (printers).

5. Professional attitude and appearance.

6. Solid written and verbal communication skills.

7. The ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

8. Excellent organizational skills.

9. Have multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

10. Possess a customer service attitude.

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 300000 to 400000 /year
