About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Monitor solar PV assets remotely and report to the asset manager issues affecting site production and availability
2. Oversee a portfolio of assets remotely and ensure contractors are responding to site faults and errors on the equipment within agreed SLAs
3. Analyze the monitoring systems data to look for long-term issues, faults, and any patterns that may indicate irregularities with the installed equipment
4. Identify and set up a set of KPIs to monitor the performance of the assets with the support of the asset manager
5. Maintain good working relationships with O&M contractors throughout the lifetime of the solar assets
6. Track site inventory within the EIRA computerized maintenance management system, provide input to the in-house reporting system and work with the asset manager to provide monthly reports
7. Monitor equipment issues and defects throughout the entire lifetime of the assets
8. Focus on the technical optimization of clients' operational solar portfolios

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing a degree in engineering (EEE / ECE / MECH)
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Basic understanding of solar power systems and energy production
4. Familiarity with monitoring platforms and tools is a plus (e.g., SCADA, DAS)
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
6. Strong communication skills to interact with various teams remotely
7. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) for reporting and analysis
