Research associate Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Proposal writing: Provide support in developing proposals
2. Desk Review: Provide support in secondary literature review
3. Development of research tools: Develop research tools in line with the project requirements under guidance of the project coordinator and other senior team members. Also review translation of the research tools
4. Capacity building: Provide training to the field teams and prepare training materials
5. Data collection: Travel to the field locations for monitoring the field work for the quantitative data collection (If applicable) and conduct In-depth Interviews, key informant interviews as well as the focus group discussions and gather data from other sources. Conduct debriefing calls with the field teams and prepare field notes on daily basis. Closed coordination with the field executive
6. Data analysis: Prepare analysis plan as well as chapterization plan. Undertake/ review transcriptions and conduct content analysis of the qualitative interviews, FGDs etc.
7. Writing reports: Write detailed reports on research findings and prepare presentations of the key findings
8. Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, research partners, and clients to provide updates and solicit feedback
9. Resource management: Manage research resources, such as equipment, budgets, and contracts
10. Team management: Work with research teams to ensure everyone accomplishes their duties
11. Other support: Provide any other research related support to the research team as and when required
