About the internship
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in researching international tenders, gathering export data, identifying sales agents, and exploring e-commerce opportunities for our export business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about global trade, business research, and market expansion.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Export data research & market analysis:
1. Gather and analyze export data related to our product category.
2. Identify top markets and demand trends for our product.
3. Track competitor pricing, distribution strategies, and market positioning.
B. Tender research & lead generation:
1. Identify export tenders from Indian and international government portals (e.g., GeM, UNGM, WTO, UN, and EU tenders).
2. Analyze tender requirements and prepare a summary report for potential bids.
C. E-commerce & online sales:
1. Research B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms (Amazon Global, Alibaba, IndiaMart, ExportHub, etc.) for listing our products.
2. Assist in creating product listings, descriptions, and pricing strategies.
3. Identify the best marketplaces for exporting our products and compare commission structures.
D. Prospect research & sales agent identification:
1. Search for potential buyers, distributors, and sales agents using various online platforms.
2. Explore trade directories, LinkedIn, and business chambers to identify prospects.
3. Assist in drafting outreach emails and conducting initial communication.
E. Documentation & reporting:
1. Maintain an updated database of export data, researched tenders, and prospect contacts.
2. Prepare weekly reports on market trends, leads, and potential partnerships.
