We are seeking a dedicated research intern with a background in early childhood education, psychology, or social sciences. The intern will conduct on-ground research to assess the impact of the Wizbot program on children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development. This role requires frequent visits to Anganwadi centers to collect, analyze, and document key insights regarding student learning improvements.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct regular visits to Anganwadi centers in Hardoi district to monitor program implementation
2. Observe and document learning improvements among children using the Wizbot program to track progress
3. Collect quantitative and qualitative data through surveys, interviews, and observational assessments to evaluate the effectiveness
4. Work closely with Anganwadi workers to understand the implementation and challenges of the program for better insights
5. Track improvements in cognitive skills, social behavior, and early learning capabilities among students to measure impact
6. Identify key touchpoints for measuring program effectiveness and suggest enhancements to improve outcomes
7. Analyze data to create structured reports on the impact of Wizbot on early childhood learning for decision-making
8. Compare progress across different Anganwadi centers to assess program scalability and replication potential
9. communicate research findings with project managers, trainers, and field teams (Anganwadi workers, HCL foundation volunteers) for coordinated efforts
10. Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance training methodologies and program delivery for better execution
11. Compile and submit research reports with key insights, findings, and suggested interventions to drive program improvements
12. Present findings in review meetings with stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making

1. Pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, social work, development studies, or related fields
2. Certifications in research methodologies, education, or social impact assessment are a plus
3. Previous experience in field research, impact assessment, or early childhood education is preferred
4. Familiarity with Anganwadi programs, child psychology, and community-based interventions is an advantage
5. Research & analytical skills: Ability to design surveys, analyze trends, and derive meaningful insights
6. Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication in Hindi and English
7. Observation & documentation: Ability to record detailed findings and translate them into structured reports
8. Interpersonal skills: Comfort in interacting with children, Anganwadi workers, and community stakeholders
9. Technology & data management: Familiarity with Google Sheets, data collection tools, and basic statistical analysis
10. Adaptability & fieldwork readiness: Willingness to travel within Hardoi district and work in rural settings
11. Commitment: Availability for the full internship duration
12. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to Anganwadi centers
13. Background check: Must complete verification and screening processes
