National Chiao Tung University invites applications from students for NCTU Taiwan Elite Internship Program - 2018.
About National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) (http://www.nctu.edu.tw/en):
NCTU has an increasingly internationalized campus and has attracted students from more than 40 countries. The university is also expanding partnerships with leading industries and prominent academic and research institutes around the world as part of the commitment to internationalization.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct research on either a small independent project or assist an ongoing project in the host laboratories
2. At the end of the research, submit a report regarding their research work (Few of the research areas are power integrated circuit, nanotechnology, optoelectronics, lasers, cancer therapy, etc.)
Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are preferably available for duration of 2 months
  3. have relevant skills and interests
  4. have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
Other requirements:
  1. Current Master or PhD students can only apply
Additional Information:
1. Free round-trip economy class flight ticket from your home country to Taiwan will be provided to the candidates
2. Additional NTD 5000 scholarship (including 6% tax) for the forst month in NCTU will be provided to the candidates
3. All applicants are to firstly contact and identify a professor at NCTU to be their research supervisor
