To nurture future innovators and thought leaders, the Science & Engineering Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and WINStep Forward have partnered to develop a dynamic and transformative student exchange program between premier institutions in India and the United States.
About Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) (http://www.iusstf.org/):
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not for profit society that promotes and catalyzes Indo-US bilateral collaborations in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide an opportunity to Indian students to experience world-class research facilities in leading U. S. institutions
2. Encourage and motivate students to take up research as a career
3. Pave the way for the next generation of pioneers and innovators in science and technology to interact with each other

Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 3 months
  3. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements:
  1. Candidates currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters' degree in atmospheric and earth sciences; chemical sciences; engineering; mathematical and computational sciences; and, physical sciences are eligible to apply
  2. Only those candidates who shall be completing their degree program on or after May 2019 are eligible to apply
