About Chabad Of India Trust

Nariman Lighthouse, run by the Chabad of India Trust, was one of the locations targeted by the terrorists. The three days long ruthless attack in Nariman House claimed the lives of six residents and one of the NSG commandos.

In the aftermath of this tragic incident, the trust decided to dedicate 3 floors of the building to create a memorial and museum: Nariman Lighthouse. It is now open to the public. Additionally, on the same premises, we have a restaurant, Kosher Mumbai, that prepares food in accordance with traditional Kosher practices.

Kosher Mumbai's eclectic menu aims to cater to two kinds of visitors- locals and foreigners who would like to explore authentic Israeli dishes and foreign Jewish guests following Kosher, who wish to try the Indian cuisine. The food experience primarily focusses on allowing the visitor to indulge in an array of delicious Israeli dishes prepared in a Kosher manner to ensure an entirely authentic experience and have a Jewish cultural exchange.
