Retail Audit Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Examine and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the organizations' internal control systems & recommend practical solutions to improve operations, enhance internal controls, and reduce costs
2. Coordinate and interact with the client for understanding the business
3. Conduct internal audits/process reviews to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures
4. Identify root cause and financial impact of audit findings and suggest practical recommendations
5. Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks
6. Review the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management
7. Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management
8. Adhere to the guidelines suggested by the firm
9. Prepare audit reports/process review reports in line with the approved audit plan
10. Prepare audit tracker & update document wise details of transaction audited and raised if any
