About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test ROS-based software solutions for navigation and control systems.
2. Assist in building and testing ROS nodes, services, and topics to ensure seamless communication and operation within the robotic systems.
3. Participate in the construction and testing of Continuous Integration/Continuous 4. Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, contributing to the maintenance and troubleshooting of these systems.
5. Engage in regular online collaboration with team members to integrate and review code, ensuring the compatibility and efficiency of software modules.
6. Involve yourself in optimizing algorithms and systems to enhance the performance and reliability of robotic controls.
7. Actively participate in virtual meetings and code reviews, adhering to best practices in backend development, and seeking mentorship and feedback from experienced team members.

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2. In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies, computer vision, and machine learning as they pertain to robotic perception.

3. Practical experience with sensor fusion, calibration, and tuning to optimize system performance.

4. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

5. Excellent analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for teamwork and documentation.
