About the internship
The job requires a daily commute to meet clients located at different locations.
Visit the head office and plant site and convince purchase officers and management for sales.
Communicate and implement the Client's vision, mission, and overall sales direction.
Achieve predetermined monthly sales targets.
Generate leads and inquiries and identify the opportunities relevant to coal sales.
Work closely with customer service, quality control, operations, safety, and credit.
Do field, plant, and head office visits for the allotted client list and execute selling parameters that conform to MTs SOPs.
Prepare and submit proposals while receiving support from the backend team.
Achieving technical and commercial closure with clients.
Support the backend team in fulfilling documentation requirements about sales orders.
After receiving training, report daily tasks in CRM, CCR, sales order processing, inquiries, party allocation, operational CRM, and other online sales-tracking tools.
Build networks and contacts with purchase/procurement persons in various industries, such as Distilleries, cement plants, fertilisers, chemicals, textiles, paper mills, sugar mills, and others.
