About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Onboard brands across PR, traditional, digital marketing, events, branding, and data analytics
2. Generate revenue for the organization
3. Ensure recurring business and oversee deal operations and agreements
4. Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
5. Manage and lead a sales representative, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
6. Set sales targets and objectives for the team, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed
7. Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, developing strategies to expand the customer base
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, fostering long-term partnerships
9. Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, adjusting sales strategies accordingly
10. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives and product launches
11. Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management to drive decision-making
12. Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure team member are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills
13. Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, recognizing performance gaps and implementing improvement plans as required
14. Stay informed about the organization's products, services, and pricing to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns

Other requirements

1. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a marketing agency/consultancy.

2. Proficiency in CRM tools.

3. Possess a strong sales track record and proposal skills.

4. The candidate should be confident and have a go-getter attitude.

5. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

6. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred.

7. The candidate must have a laptop of their own.

8. Possess a strong knowledge of Google My Business and ORM.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 250 per quotation sent).
