About the internship

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Market Development Specialist to help achieve product-market fit. In close collaboration with the Business Operations Coordinator, you will drive sales, build client relationships, and gather key market insights. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding customer needs, creating tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional service. Your insights will shape our product development and marketing strategies.

You'll also have the opportunity to attend exclusive events, network, build connections, and represent our brand in dynamic industry settings.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and business opportunities. Build and nurture stakeholder relationships, tailoring sales approaches based on insights.
2. Market Research & Feedback: Work with the Business Operations Coordinator to analyze market data and provide feedback for refining products, pricing, and product-market fit.
3. Sales Presentations & Product Demos: Deliver engaging presentations and demos to clients, highlighting our offerings and adapting messages to client needs.
4. Client Relationship Management: Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
5. Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with leadership and operations to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
6. Collaborative Engagement: Work with the Business Operations Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition between sales and operational execution, exceeding client expectations.

Other requirements

1. Proven experience in B2B sales, market development, or business development roles

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships

3. Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to provide valuable feedback to the product team

4. Experience in delivering tailored product demos and presentations to diverse clients

5. Proficiency in CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline

6. A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

7. Passionate about contributing to product development and achieving product-market fit

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (5% of revenue generated).
