About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Ensure smooth operations related to procurement, issue & return of reading material to students & faculty/staff
2. Ensure proper upkeep, maintenance of the library and all reading material
3. Select, develop, manage catalogs and classify library resources and making them easy to use
4. Use library systems and specialist computer applications
5. Liaise with departmental academic staff, external organizations, and suppliers
6. Manage budgets and resources
7. Assist in procurement & promoting the library's resources to users
8. Keep the library organized and tidy
9. Chase and collect books back and enforce fines
10. Maintain a quiet environment

Who can apply

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 7th Aug'19 and 6th Sep'19

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests
