About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conducting keyword research to identify potential ranking opportunities
2. Assisting in optimizing website content, meta tags, and URLs for better search engine rankings
3. Collaborating with the content team to create SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and website copy
4. Supporting the team in building high-quality backlinks through outreach and other link-building strategies
5. Tracking and analyzing website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others
6. Performing competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in our SEO strategy
7. Assisting in identifying and fixing technical SEO issues, such as broken links, site speed, and mobile-friendliness
8. Preparing regular reports on SEO performance and suggesting improvements

Other requirements

1. Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing or SEO experience

2. Familiarity with SEO Tools: Basic knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

3. Understanding of SEO Best Practices: Basic understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization

4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

5. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, particularly in content and data analysis

6. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills

7. Proactiveness: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
