As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with our SEO team to develop and implement strategies that increase our website's visibility in search engines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about search engine optimization and digital marketing in a hands-on environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in conducting keyword research to identify valuable search terms.
2. Support in optimizing website content for targeted keywords.
3. Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software.
4. Help with on-page and off-page SEO activities, including link building.
5. Participate in content creation and ensure that it aligns with SEO best practices.
6. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
7. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Assist in implementing technical SEO improvements, such as improving site speed and fixing crawl errors.
Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, IT, or a related field.
2. Basic SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
6. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
