Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Internship

Key Responsibilities:
SEO Basics:
1. Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization.
2. Assist in on-page optimization (titles, meta tags, headers, image alt texts, etc.).
3. Support in performing website audits and identifying issues affecting SEO performance.
4. Learn and implement GMB optimization for location-based search rankings.
5. Assist in optimizing website structure and content for better search engine visibility.

Analytics & Monitoring:
1. Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
2. Track and analyze traffic data and provide insights for improvement.
3. Generate weekly or bi-weekly performance reports under guidance.

Competitive Analysis:
1. Research competitor websites to identify their strengths and weaknesses in SEO.
2. Provide suggestions to outperform competitors in search rankings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Basic knowledge of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO).
2. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and any SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz) is a plus.
3. Proficiency in WordPress is a bonus.
4. Strong analytical and research skills.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
6. Good communication and reporting skills.
