About the internship
This is a full-time internship role as an SEO trainee at Gigde Global located in Noida. As an SEO Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with search engine optimization activities, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and performance analysis. You will work closely with the SEO team to improve website rankings, increase organic traffic, and optimize content to enhance user experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in conducting keyword research to identify opportunities for SEO optimization.
2. Learn and apply on-page SEO techniques including optimizing meta tags, headings, and content structure.
3. Assist in optimizing website content for SEO purposes, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and keyword-rich.
4. Support in performing SEO audits to identify technical SEO issues and opportunities for improvement.
5. Help in preparing SEO performance reports using tools like Google Analytics and SEO platforms.
6. Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses in competitors' SEO strategies.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
8. Work closely with the SEO team and other departments to implement SEO strategies and achieve business goals.
9. Maintain documentation of SEO activities, strategies, and best practices.

Other requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in marketing, business, communications, information technology, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
3. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in SEO implementation and reporting.
4. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure is preferred.
5. Ability to identify issues and propose solutions for SEO optimization.
6. Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
