About the internship
We're seeking a highly creative and motivated social media intern to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will actively contribute to all parts of our social media presence. Responsibilities range from hands-on content creation to strategy and outreach. You'll have an amazing chance to learn, implement, and refine cutting-edge social media tactics!
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
a. Content Creation: Camera Handling: Capture compelling photos and videos for social media according to brand guidelines
b. Video Editing: Edit videos, adding music, transitions, and effects to create engaging content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
c. Podcasting Support: Provide assistance with podcast recording, editing, and social media promotion
d. Social Media Strategy:
1. Brainstorm innovative content ideas and social media campaigns
2. Research and stay informed about the latest social media trends and best practices
3. Assist with developing and maintaining social media calendars
e. Influencer Collaboration:
1. Identify and research relevant influencers in our industry niche
2. Initiate outreach and build relationships with influencers for collaborations
3. Coordinate and manage influencer campaigns
f. Social Media Management:
1. Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages promptly
2. Set up and optimize social media profiles, schedule posts, and manage ad campaigns
3. Track and analyze social media metrics to report on campaign performance

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree/diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2. Passionate about social media and have a strong understanding of various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
3. Proficient with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
4. Working knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.
7. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
8. Experience with podcasting production.
9. Experience in influencer outreach and collaboration.
10. Basic graphic design skills.
11. Familiarity with social media advertising.
