About the internship

The social media marketing executive will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. The role involves creating content, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring our social media activities align with our overall marketing strategies.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy
2. Creating and curating engaging content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
3. Monitoring social media channels for trends and insights, responding to audience queries and comments in a timely manner
4. Collaborating with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, customer service) to ensure brand consistency
5. Analyzing social media metrics to track performance and adjust strategies as needed
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
7. Using social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.
8. Assisting in the development of social media campaigns and promotions
9. Conducting competitive research and analyzing benchmarking data
10. Monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews
11. Designing and implementing social media advertising campaigns

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

2. Proven experience as a social media executive or similar role

3. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices

4. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

5. Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research

6. Good understanding of social media KPIs

7. Familiarity with web design and publishing

8. Excellent multitasking skills

9. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

10. Team player

11. Good time-management skills

12. Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
