The Assam CHAMP Fellowship is a program for bachelor s and master s graduates in social work and psychology who are interested in improving the health and well-being of school students throughout the state of Assam.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working with schools and communities
2. Identifying and addressing health and wellness issues affecting students
3. Working closely with a mentor (social work & psychology professional)
4. Developing and implementing health and wellness interventions
5. Conducting research and evaluations
6. Providing direct support to students and families
Additional Information:
1. The fellowship is a full-time, 100-day program
2. The program aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience and make a tangible impact on the health and well-being of school students in Assam, while also preparing them for a career in the field
3. This fellowship is open to bachelor s and master s graduates in social work and psychology who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of school students and are committed to working in the state of Assam
4. The fellowship is competitive, and only a limited number of graduates from each district of Assam are accepted
5. The fellowship program requires a minimum of 4 hours of work per day from Monday to Saturday and does not include official holidays
6. The work will be conducted on-site or on location
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 18th Jan'23 and 22nd Feb'23
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
