Software Development – Vāgyojaka Tool Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

0. Must know C++.
1. Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug C++ code in the QT-based Vagyojaka tool.
2. Feature Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of new features.
3. Code Integration: Seamlessly integrate and test new features within the existing system.
4. Collaboration: Engage with the development team in daily stand-ups and collaborative sessions.
5. Quality Assurance: Write and conduct unit tests, and assist with QA to ensure robustness.
6. Documentation: Document code changes and feature additions effectively.
7. Learning: Continuously learn about QT platform and ASR, Translation, and TTS technologies, incorporating new knowledge into the work.

Qualifications:

1. Enrolled in a computer science (or related) degree program, graduating in 2025 or later.
2. Proficiency in C++ is mandatory.
3. Strong analytical skills and teamwork orientation.
4. Excellent communication skills.

Note:

1. We have developed Vagyojaka an open-source post-editing and annotation tool for end-to-end provenance tool for spoken translation that aims to reduce the human effort required to correct the automatic speech recognition (ASR) and translation result.
2. This internship is work-from-home, where the intern has to deal with people, data, and timeline management, involving only software installation/troubleshooting/testing.
