Software Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Improving the Python engine that enables braille learning on the world s first braille self-learning hardware and software ecosystem (Annie)
2. Collaborating with product managers, special education experts, and CTO to ideate, design, prototype, validate and launch new features to improve user experience and learning outcomes
3. Assisting hardware and deployment engineers with software configurations to optimize Annie's deployments
4. Making a social impact with every line of code

What you'll need to bring to the table?

1. Education in computer science, engineering, or a related subject
2. Working understanding of Python
3. Experience having worked with Linux and a basic knowledge of Shell
4. Basic understanding of operating systems, computer architecture, and networking
5. Experience working with web applications and APIs
6. Good to have: Experience with Raspberry Pi
