About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understand product requirements and create test cases
2. Develop, review, and execute manual and automated test cases
3. Perform cross-platform testing (Android, iOS, Web)
4. Write and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Web), Appium (Mobile), or Cypress
5. Use test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest
6. Debug and fix automation script failures
7. Conduct functional, UI, and regression testing for new features
8. Identify and report bugs with proper documentation
9. Re-run automation tests after bug fixes
10. Use Postman, REST Assured to test APIs
11. Perform database queries for data validation (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
12. Run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
13. Maintain test scripts in Git/GitHub
14. Document test results, automation progress, and issues
15. Provide feedback to developers and suggest improvements
16. Attend daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with teams
17. Stay updated with new testing tools and best practices
18. Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
