Software Testing Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software meets specified requirements
2. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications
3. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
4. Communicate bugs and issues clearly to the development team for resolution
5. Assist in developing and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
6. Participate in test plan and test case reviews with the QA team
7. Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand product functionality and requirements
8. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
9. Document testing processes, results, and any new issues encountered during testing
10. Provide feedback on software usability and functionality

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
2. Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies
3. Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar
4. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
7. Good verbal and written communication skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Experience with automated testing tools
10. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
11. Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git
