About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

(a) Pedagogy and content creation:
1. Developing engaging lessons, assignments, and role plays for beginners in spoken English.
2. Identifying and creating questions for activities and assignments following each lesson.
3. Ensuring content is student-friendly and enhances learning engagement.

(b) Language translation:
1. Regularly translating content between Tamil, English, and Hindi.
2. Ensuring translations are accurate and reflect practical, day-to-day language usage.

(c) Design tasks:
1. Creating images and graphics for the spoken English content using Canva.
2. Collaborating with the team to design visually appealing and educational content.

(d) Topic lessons: Assisting in creating chat-based lessons that precede activities.

(e) Team collaboration:
1. Working closely with team members to meet content delivery outcomes.
2. Using tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other internal platforms for collaboration and content management.

Only those candidates can apply who:

Other requirements

1. Educational skills:

a. Strong sense of pedagogy and ability to create engaging educational content.

b. Ability to think from a student’s perspective to ensure content clarity and effectiveness.

2. Language proficiency:

a. Fluent in Tamil, English, and Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking) will be preferred.

b. Strong understanding of practical language usage in all three languages will be preferred.

3. Design skills: Proficiency in Canva for creating educational images and graphics.

4. Attention to detail:

a. High level of attention to detail in content creation and design.

5. Technical skills:

a. Basic proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.

b. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and platforms as needed.
