Supply Chain Management (SCM) Purchase Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Oversee vendor sourcing, selection, and performance
2. Handle material quality issues and delivery issues
3. Ensure that purchase quality, quantity, delivery, and the price is correct
4. Handle the material arrangement to fulfill the daily production plan
5. Ensure all purchasing records are up to date, generated periodically
6. Prepare monthly purchase reports, update approval vendor lists and assist with yearly vendor performance assessments
7. Send weekly forecast and pull plan to the supplier in view of the latest customer s/production requirement
8. Work on weekly review of inventory level versus production schedule planning
9. Monitor orders and deliveries, assist with supplier audits
10. Ensure ISO requirements and documentation are properly maintained
11. Monitor supplier on-time delivery
12. Arrange RTV (return to vendor) parts to supplier and coordinate on goods replacements or CN/DN
