1. Work on monitoring servers and desktop support and handle essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
2. Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
3. Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, resource monitoring, and ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
4. Monitor data center health using pre-existing management tools, respond to hardware issues as they arise, and help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
5. Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
6. Review system logs and generate/retain server/system backup.
7. Involve and initiate disaster recovery planning.
