About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead hands-on workshops and training sessions to educate students on the construction, operation, and maintenance of aeromodels and drones
2. Develop comprehensive curriculum modules covering fundamental concepts in aviation, aerodynamics, aeroengines, meteorology, and related subjects
3. Provide personalised guidance and support to students, catering to varying skill levels and learning styles, to ensure their progress and mastery of concepts
4. Foster a collaborative learning environment, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and innovation among students
5. Conduct practical demonstrations and flight simulations to impart practical skills in piloting and troubleshooting aerial vehicles
6. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and safety protocols in the aviation and drone sectors to continually enhance teaching materials and methodologies
7. Collaborate with other instructors and industry professionals to organize guest lectures, field trips, and competitions to enrich the learning experience and showcase students' achievements

Other requirements
1. A bachelors degree or higher in aeronautical engineering or a related field is preferred. However, experience in RC flying and training on aeromodels and drones are paramount.
2. Proven experience in teaching students of diverse backgrounds and age groups aeromodels, drone construction, and flying techniques.
3. Strong understanding of aviation principles, including aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and meteorological factors influencing flight.
4. Proficiency in designing and building aeromodels and drones from scratch, preferably with experience in utilising CAD software and 3D printing technology.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
6. Passion for mentoring and inspiring students to pursue careers in the aviation and drone industries.
7. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to tailor instruction to meet individual student needs and objectives.
8. Knowledge of space-related topics and emerging trends in aerospace technology would be a distinct advantage.
